These terms cover your purchase and use of the guides sold on theoldwayslibrary.com. Buying a book means you accept them.
Amos Hale and Opal Rhodes are fictional characters. Their names, faces and voices are AI-generated. They are not real people, they are not the authors in any legal sense, and no statement attributed to them is a personal testimonial. The guides are written and published by Dykros Media LLC. This is stated on the sales page too, and we would rather repeat it than have you find out later.
Who you are buying from
The Old Ways Library is a project of Dykros Media LLC, a limited liability company registered in New Mexico, United States. Contact: dykrosmedia@gmail.com.
What you are buying
Digital guides delivered as PDF files. There is no physical shipment and no subscription. You pay once.
- A single book is 39 US dollars. All three by the same author is 89 US dollars.
- The three-book library also includes the one-page master plan.
- Delivery is immediate. Your download link appears as soon as payment clears.
- Access is permanent. The files are yours to keep and print.
Your licence
You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the guides in your own household. You may print the checklists and trackers as many times as you like for your own use.
You may not resell them, republish them, post them publicly, or distribute them outside your household. Copyright stays with Dykros Media LLC.
Price and payment
Prices are shown before you buy and charged in US dollars. Payment is handled by Stripe through its Managed Payments service. Stripe acts as the merchant of record, which means Stripe is responsible for calculating, collecting and remitting any applicable sales tax, VAT or GST. We never see or store your card details.
Refunds
These guides carry a money-back promise tied to what they claim to do. The full terms are on the refund policy page and they form part of these terms.
What these guides are and are not
They are educational, informational guides about household food buying, storage and cooking.
They are not financial advice, nutritional advice, or medical advice, and they are not a guarantee of savings. Dollar figures and savings ranges are researched examples. What you actually save depends on where you shop, what you already buy, household size and prices where you live.
On food storage in particular: follow the food safety guidance of your local authority. If a stored food looks, smells or tastes wrong, throw it out. No guide can inspect your pantry.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Dykros Media LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of these guides. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is capped at what you paid.
Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above tells you which version is current. The terms that apply to your purchase are the ones published on the day you bought.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, United States. If you are buying as a consumer somewhere with stronger mandatory consumer protections, those protections still apply to you.
